About us
As one of the largest road construction and maintenance companies in Latvia, CTB SIA has built and reconstructed several hundred kilometres of roads of various surface constructions and using various solutions. Our clients include VSIA Latvijas Valsts ceļi, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, local government of State city Liepāja and local government of State city Ventspils, as well as the construction companies Binders SIA and Velve SIA, among others. We are proud of the fact that in 2018 we ranked among Latvia’s 500 largest companies in terms of net turnover and that we are one of the largest taxpayers in the construction industry in the Kurzeme region.

History
CTB was established as a privately financed company on 29 April 1998. The company has grown rapidly from the team of 10 people who started it more than 20 years ago to a team of more than 300 specialists in various fields. As early as 1999, the company had the opportunity to prove its abilities by undertaking the construction of the Liepāja access roads to the free port. In 2000, we won the ‘Gazelle’ award for our rapid growth. Our determination and development strategy allowed us to launch our first project in Lithuania in 2016, where we were contracted by the hardware store Depo DIY in Klaipėda. We carried out asphalt construction works on an area of 13,900 m2, as well as paving 3,650 m2 and excavating 28,400 m3 of soil.

In order to ensure the consistent quality of our work in accordance with international standards, the company has created, implemented and certified an integrated quality, labour and environmental-protection management system (respectively ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001), which all employees of the company are involved in fulfilling the requirements of.
Awards
CTB SIA has received recognition and several awards, including, for example, from the State Revenue Service for being the largest taxpayer in the construction industry in the Kurzeme planning region in 2018. We have also won several other awards and certificates of appreciation due to our constant striving for excellence and delivery of the highest quality in every aspect of our work.
